# SDK

Cryptonly provides an official JavaScript / TypeScript SDK for server-side integrations.

The SDK helps you work with the merchant API faster by giving you a typed client for common operations such as invoice creation, withdrawals, and account access, without having to build raw HTTP requests manually.

It is designed for trusted backend environments only and uses your tenant API key to authorize requests.

Use the SDK if you want to:

* create invoices from your backend
* manage withdrawals programmatically
* work with merchant accounts
* integrate Cryptonly into Node.js or TypeScript services more quickly

You can install the package from npm as **`@cryptonly/sdk`**.

```bash
npm install @cryptonly/sdk
```

### Quick start

```ts
import { Cryptonly } from '@cryptonly/sdk';
const client = new Cryptonly({
  apiKey: process.env.CRYPTONLY_API_KEY!,
  defaultAccountId: process.env.CRYPTONLY_ACCOUNT_ID, // optional
});
const invoice = await client.invoice.create({
  amount: 100,
  fiatCurrencyCode: 'USD',
  description: 'Order #123',
  orderId: 'order_123',
});
```

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://cryptonly.gitbook.io/docs/integration/sdk.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
